Records). So here goes, kicking off with two great soul classics Loleta Holloway - "I Just Can't Help Myself" & Dutch Robinson - "Lowdown", onto to the current and pre release
stuff with Bridge - "Crying For Love", Gary Desertage - "If You Ever Fall In Love", Gary we are told lives and works in Preston, UK, what a voice and this track on a 4 track vinyl
sampler called Soul Stepping on Expansion Records. Genai album out on Expansion and this track is a rework of "Runaway". Maisha - "All Of My Life" she's currently looking for a deal
for a great new album, Brian Culbertson - "Something About Love" the title of his new album for Atlantic Records, Craig T Cooper feat the vocals of Denise Stewart, coming on an album for
Expansion called "The Night You Said" onwards with Frank McCoomb -"All You Need Is Love" and the news that his album "Love Stories" which was scheduled for immenent release
has now been put back to the year 2000.
On the inspirational tip Donny McKlirkin and Nancy Jackson -"You Haven't Lived" Chico DeBarge has a new album Stateside for Universal Records track 10 is "Your
Way", DeVox featuring Jerry DeVo - "There Goes My Heart", the album is out soon for expansion and Brian Culbertson - "Getting Over You", and back with one of the key soul tracks
of this year, Kevin Toney - "So Good". available on import. Next track recorded back in 1993 for Motown but not released Larry Springfield & Chante Moore -"Do That To Me", now
available on a new CD called The McCauley sessions. Next from the latest Bob James album Rashida is the lead vocalist on "Sweet Talk Me Now". The huge modern dancer "Front Of The
Line" from Jerry DeVo, the album is called Soul Degrees and is available in the shops on Expansion Records. Another track from the new Universal Album for Chico DeBarge - "Heart Mind &
Soul", Jenita -"Loving Every Minute", Copeland Davis "Morning Spring" from the Jazz Business album compiled by Russ Dewsbury, and then it's onto Soul Boulevard with tracks
selected by Soul Sam.
From New York, Alvin Green and Green Fire - "The Sun That Shines" on Green Fire records from 1980 one that Sam has had for a while and recently dug out as the pace
sounds more right for today's sound. next a recent addition to his collection Mahala Jackson - "I Need You Each Morning", from the TK setup, Hot Bush -"Tell Me That You Will", Dale
Derby - "Don't Put Our Love Off" a white label but it was issued. Raw Umba - "Love One Another" on a label called Virginia in Chigago, Exit - "One More Hour".

Down into the cellar with a few requests to kick off and the awesome Dion Jackson - "Someday The Sun Will Shine", as you'll here the sound quality is not so good but I
think it's an acetate only, but it's definitely worth hearing. Tammi Terrell's unisued Motown track - "It's A Lone Lone Lonely Town", moving onto Sam's choices and an oldie that you don't here
too much these days Spyder Turner - "Gotta Get Myself Together", over to Detroit and Theresa Lindsey - "It's Love" for CorrecTone Records, and a vastly underplayed record by Maurita
Gatey - "Love's What You Want" on PooPan records from Detroit. Next is Hodges James Smith & Crawford - "Let's Pick Up The Pieces", the Crawford is actually Carolyn Crawford, and
Kent have the rights for it so it could be getting a release in the future. Experience Unlimited - "You've Got To Tell Me", Minnie Jones from Los Angeles and another forgotten record which used
to get played a lot at the Blue Rooms in Sale, "Shaddow Of A Memory" for the Sugar label in LA, back into Detroit for a recent purchase, The Proteges - "You Counterfiet Girl", Dusty
Wilson - "Gonna Be A Tragedy", next up is a Top 3 Request, Trends - "Thanks For A Little Loving", Charades - "Key To My Happiness" and an album only track from Cyde McPhater
- "Please Give Me One More Chance", back to 3 more from Sam, Matt Brown - "Thank You Baby" for JarVal records, next up is a record which is on the same label as LV Johnson (trying To
Hold On) a label which it seems that everything on it is rare, Willie Darrington or Willie D - "It Looks Like Rain", last one for Sam is a 70's record produced by Willie Hutch, Reason Why are
the artists and "Step Inside My World"
Tony Rounce is the guest for the next hour and kicks off with a record of Jamaican origin record by W King Cole - "I Wonder Why" on the Micron Label, Mike Jemison -
"You Can Make it If You Can Take It" on United Artists, next again on UA, is Rosey Grier - "Oh How I Miss You Baby", The Icemen, aka The Poindexter Brothers, and "My Girl She's a
Fox", next up is a world exclusive, whilst Tony was looking to have a stereo version of Jimmy Jones - Walking, he was using the original master tapes, at the end of which there was an extra track by
Jimmy Jones which was never released, "I Depend On You", awesome or what ?, It will be on a compilation of unreleased Roulette stuff next year. Next is a New York label END, and another track
that wasn't released Harry Starr - "Live It Up", another unissued track from the Dimension label, the original "Good Good Loving" by the Cinderellas, from the Gamble label, by Oliver
Bush - "I'll Make It Up To You" a New York recording which Gamble are thought to have bought in, next up a really awesome piece of soul, unissued from All Platinum records, Norma Jenkins and
"The Cowards Way", back into the early 60's for The Pentagons - "I Wonder Will Your Love Ever Belong To Me", onto the early 80's and just a half of a song, because that is all that
could be rescued from the demo tape, Bunny Sigler - "I'm Gonna Do My Best", Bunny apparantley demoed it for Jean Carne, which is also played and which also didn't get a release. Gwen McCrae -
"Ain't Nothing You Can Do" for Columbia records, next up and finally we have Dana Vallery - "It's You Babe.
