And there off, a great show promised today with special in studio guest Carl Willingham, that's between 1 & 2, on with the first section Ron Matlock – "You Got The Best Of Me", which is forthcoming for Kent Records, Pieces Of A Dream featuring Maisha – "You & I" and from San Francisco Fred Ross – "Tuesday Heartbreak", next is Gwen Scales excellent Detroit "It's Your Love" now available in limited quantity on import and from the album by Mark Nelson called Chocolate Moods we have "Tell Me What's Up". Frank McCoomb – and a track from the Love Stories album due early next year Maisha Leek – All Of My Life, available now on a limited edition Japanese CD. Mark Nelson – Compass Love, Janice -"Memory Lane", Rashan Patterson – "It's Alright Now", Trina Brousard and her abandoned album, Lewis Lamb – "Gentle As A Lamb". Jackie Anderson and Anthony Young – "Whatever You Want" for the Katalog label out a few years ago and pretty hard to find now, Modern Tribe Featuring Gwen Scales –"So Good To Have Someone", Sherleek Rivers featuring Dennis Taylor – "You Know Just What It's Like". Off down Soulk Boulevard for Ray Ellis – "I Don't Mind", Dual Bass – "Let Your Love Rain Down On Me", Kenny Long – "It's Better To Have Loved, Kazoo Matsuai Project feat Marsha King on leads and "Midnight Shuffle, and from 1977 Marlena Shaw – "California Soul". Standing on deep soul corner and Goldie Alexander – "Show I Love You", Greg Jackson – "One For The Road"

 

We're off down the steps to the Cellar Full Of Soul and kicking off with Tommy Tate – "If You've Got To Love Somebody", Originals from the "Portrait of" – "Don't Stop Now", about to be released for JoeBoy Records, Jackie Wilson and Erma Franklyn – "I get The Sweetest Feeling" apparently now legitimately mixed together. Temptations – "My Baby", Jades – "I'm Where It's At", Velvet Satins – "Nothing Can Compare To You", Today's People – "All We Need Is Time For Love", Marvin Gaye – "Just A Little Love" from the new Lost & Found CD, Nathan Williams – "What Price", Emmett Long from 1980 – "Call Me", Patti Austin – "You'll Always Be In Style.

Special Guest today is Carl Willingham, the man with the Demos, first up is Marva Josie – "You Lied", Tony Samms, originally covered up as Lou Pride – "We're a 1000 Miles Apart", Ila Van – "What You Mean To Me", Milton James –"My lonely feeling" apparently only 2 known copies of this on Dore Records, next up a 1963 New York acetate only copy known in existence no details of artist or title, next a record originally found on acetate by Ady Crosdale and christened the Fabulous Impacts, since then 2 more copies have been found, it's The Moments –"I Want You", Brenda Holloway – Play It Cool, Stay In School", Linda & The Pretenders – "Believe Me" an Eddie Singleton record and only 2 known copies, Ralph Graham – "She Just Sits There", Jimmy Thomas – "Above A Whisper" which is the B side of Beautiful Night, and a 70's track Darrow Fletcher – "It's No Mistake", Nancy Wilson on a French EP – "Reach Out For Me", John & The Weirdest – "Can't Get Over These Memories", Billy Woods – "Let Me Make You Happy", Buddy Smith – "When You Lose The One You Love", Richard Caiton – "Like To get Near You", Montclairs – "Come On Hold Me", Joe Simon is next and no title, last record George pep – "This Feeling Is Real
